BIOGRAPHY

I am a pharmacist with a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance (University of Nairobi) and a 2022 Fellowship in Antimicrobial Resistance from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Currently Pharmaceutical Expert at IGAD (one of the AU Regional Economic Communities), I support the Medicines Regulation Harmonization and Health Emergency Preparedness programs focusing on access to quality health products and local vaccine production. Previously with Kenya’s Pharmacy and Poisons Board for 10 years, I bring broad regional experience and a special interest in drug-utilization studies and regulatory science.
