Adah Allotey-Pappoe is a Chief Regulatory Officer with the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), Ghana, and currently heads the Substances of Abuse Department. A pharmacist by profession, she has over 16 years of experience in medicines regulation, spanning marketing authorization, post-approval market surveillance, inspections, clinical trials and controlled substances monitoring.
She is a Fellow of the Global Health Protection Programme (GHPP) “Trainer of Trainers” initiative in Clinical Data Assessment by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM), Germany, and serves as a member of the Joint Technical Working Group for Guidelines in Marketing Authorization (TWG-MAG).
Adah is driven by her passion for regulatory science, and is committed to ensuring that medicines approved for public use are safe, effective, and supported by sound scientific evidence.
