Dr. Houda LANGAR is a pharmacist biologist, associate professor of clinical microbiology, along with postgraduate degree qualification in medical sciences, biochemistry, hematology, parasitology, microbiology, and control of medicines. She works for the World Health Organization's Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office as a regional adviser for access to medicines and health technologies since 2005 and was in charge to support EM countries in strengthening their regulatory systems, production, procurement and R&D of medical products, particularly vaccines and biologics. Prior to joining WHO she worked in clinical laboratories in Tunisia and France, as well as in Tunisia's biological product regulation and control.
