Bianca Baluta is a health policy expert and pharmacist with experience in pharmaceutical policy and global health. The professional experience is the result of continuously contributing to the national level in both public and private sectors (Romania), as well as at the EU level, working for the European Commission. She graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila Bucharest in 2019 and from the London School of Economics and Political Science (MSc in International Health Policy) in 2021. She currently has the role of Policy Officer in the Directorate-General International Partnerships (DG INTPA) in the European Commission, working on the Manufacturing and Access to Vaccines, Medicines and Health Technologies in Africa (MAV+) initiative, as well as on innovative financing and partnerships.”
