BIOGRAPHY

Cheikh Seck is a pharmacist at the Directorate of Drug Registration and Serialization (DIHS) within the Senegalese Agency for Pharmaceutical Regulation (ARP), where he has been serving for the past seven months. His integration into the Directorate has enabled him to strengthen his expertise in regulatory science while developing a rigorous analytical approach to the evaluation of registration dossiers. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree (M2) in Health and Drug Sciences, specializing in “Regulation and Pharmaceutical Law”, at the CEA-CEFOREM, Joseph Ki-Zerbo University in Burkina Faso. This dual academic path has provided him with a solid understanding of the legal and technical dimensions of pharmaceutical regulation. Before joining the ARP, Cheikh completed an internship in the Laboratory Department, where he enhanced his skills in quality control and analytical data management. He is currently contributing to the modernization of Senegal’s regulatory framework, with a strong commitment to improving the efficiency and alignment of evaluation processes with international standards.
