BIOGRAPHY

John currently serves as the Regulatory Policy and Science Lead for non-EU countries at Bayer. With a strong background in pharmaceutical regulation and policy, he has been an active contributor to several key industry associations. He sits on the Board of the Kenya Association of Pharmaceutical Industry (KAPI), where he continues to play a pivotal role in advancing the pharmaceutical sector. He also serves as Chairman of the Board for the Regulatory Professionals Society of Kenya (RAPSK). Passionate about streamlining pharmaceutical regulatory systems and policies, John has held various leadership positions, including serving as Chair and active member of the Africa Regulatory Network (ARN) under the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA). He also contributes to the Africa Strategy Committee at the Global Self-Care Federation (GSCF). In addition to his professional responsibilities, John serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Strathmore University, where he shares his expertise with the next generation of regulatory professionals.
