Wilson Chandomba is a passionate advocate for building resilient, transparent, and quality-driven health supply chains across Africa. With 27 years of experience in pharmaceutical regulation, logistics, and quality assurance, he is a recognised continental leader in embedding end-to-end control and compliance within medical product supply systems.
As Founder and Managing Consultant of CMCOMMS Supply Chain Quality Assurance, Wilson leads transformative programmes that strengthen regulatory and operational systems through capacity building and quality assurance integration. He is the designer of the Medical Logistics Practitioner Programme, accredited by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and recognised by the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ)—a Level 3 regulatory authority. This initiative has equipped professionals across Africa with practical tools to implement and sustain GSDP compliance.
A Certified Supply Chain Leader and Health and Humanitarian Supply Chain Expert, Wilson is a Goodwill Ambassador for the Fight the Fakes Alliance and the Southern Africa Regional Lead for the International Association of Public Health Logisticians (IAPHL). His advocacy centres on the fight against Substandard and Falsified Medical Products (SFMPs)—a battle that, he believes, can only be won through adequate control of the entire supply chain, where quality assurance is built into every process from sourcing to patient delivery.
He serves on the Africa Technical Working Group on SFMPs and chairs its Communications Subgroup, advancing continental advocacy for Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSDP) as a legal and regulatory instrument rather than a voluntary guideline.
In 2025, Wilson’s contributions were honoured at the Africa Supply Chain Excellence Awards (ASCEA) for his leadership in Health and Humanitarian Supply Chain Strengthening. His vision remains clear: to secure Africa’s supply chains through adequate control, professionalism, and shared accountability—ensuring quality medicines for all.
