Admire Nyika has over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulation, and skill development. He holds a master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences (regulatory affairs) and business administration and is currently pursuing a doctorate in business administration, as well as special honours in monitoring and evaluation.
Admire actively promotes regulatory harmonisation, local production, pharmaceutical workforce development, and the fight against substandard and falsified medicines. He has held senior roles at MCAZ, the SADC MRH, and in the private sector. Currently, he is involved in projects as a technical expert with QUAMED, leading capacity-building programmes for suppliers, and as an industry & regulatory expert under the Africa CDC/TESS-MAV+ project, coordinating skills mapping across Africa for pharmaceutical manufacturing. He has also contributed to the COMESA Quality Control Laboratory Assessment Project, improving the capabilities of National Medicines Quality Control Laboratories.
Admire serves on the Pharmacists Council of Zimbabwe Education Committee and actively supervises master’s students’ research
