BIOGRAPHY

Laura is an international consultant with extensive experience in leading global projects focused on advancing non-animal-based assays for biological products, including vaccines. Since 2017, she has dedicated her work to promoting the implementation and regulatory acceptance of innovative, human-based approaches in the biomedical field.

Her expertise also extends to the veterinary sector, where she supports efforts to eliminate reliance on animal testing for vaccine release and to harmonize regulatory frameworks and requirements across regions.

Laura collaborates closely with international organizations, public and private institutions, animal protection NGOs, and regulatory authorities at global, regional, and national levels.

Before launching her consultancy career, she managed major projects at Novartis, GSK, and the Developing Countries Vaccine Manufacturers Network (DCVMN). She holds a master’s degree in science communication and a degree in philosophy and is a certified change management practitioner.
