BIOGRAPHY

Dr Aboubacar Sangho is a Malian pharmacist with strong expertise in pharmaceutical regulation and ethics. He earned a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Bamako (2011), a Master’s in Pharmaceutical Regulation (2020), and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Law and Ethics (2025) from Joseph Ki-Zerbo University in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Since 2012, he has served in the public sector at the Directorate of Pharmacy and Medicines, playing a key role in national regulatory affairs. In 2023, he joined the West African Health Organization (WAHO) as a technical expert on pharmaceutical policy, law, and regulation. Since 2017, he has also been a lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Science, Techniques and Technologies of Bamako, where he teaches pharmaceutical law and ethics. His academic work has led to several publications under senior supervision, one of which inspired the presentation he is delighted to share at this conference.
