BIOGRAPHY

Chief Executive Officer of the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) and Chair of the AMRH Steering Committee. Holds a PhD in Biochemistry from North-West University and an MSc in Management Finance and Investment from Wits Business School. Former Executive Director at CSIR Biosciences and McKinsey Leadership Fellow. Completed postdoctoral research at the University of Nottingham and EPFL Switzerland. Published author in scientific journals. Under her leadership, SAHPRA achieved WHO Maturity Level 3 status and became a Regional Center of Regulatory Excellence.
